Re: PA tank panel

Hey Pete, thanks for that. I’ll take it from there. Funny thing about the panel on this tank is that it has a 1/2” hole filled and finished and then chromed. I only bought this machine last year but I recognize the fill and craftsmanship. I filled that hole 45 years ago while a sheet metal apprentic...

PA tank panel

I’d like to go ahead and notch out a tank panel to receive a PA speedo in place of the Chronometric currently installed. I don’t currently have a PA installed in a finished tank but no matter how you look at it the PA won’t fit through the Chrono hole. Does anyone have a pic of the correct notch?Tha...

Re: MKIII

Checking my own post from 5 years ago, I see that I asked a similar question! Where does the time go?

MKIII

There were frame parts made to convert swing arm frames to accept a SQ4 motor. Anyone know if there are any bits available? Don’t know if motor mounts were lasered but of course that would be awesome. Any other pieces?

Re: Converting gearbox for PA speedo

This is why it is always wise to consult the oracles. No stripped gears for me. Thanks very much the heads up, Paul. It seems that using the 50 box is not a good idea. I do have a BA box marked as made in December 1945, so even without pulling it apart to check, I am pretty sure it must be loaded fo...

Converting gearbox for PA speedo

Re: WTD. combination lever nut

Vincent,
The problem only occurred when trying to post using this “smart” phone”. When switching to the lap top it went straight through.

Re: Friction Damper Knob Genuine Nos 46-7040

Looking only at the knob, Alan. as pictured in the eBay listing. So, if Ariel misprinted one image, how reliable are other images? No reply yet from the eBay lister.
