That seems like a good idea, I have a dranganfly one and yes they are not cheap! It runs off a button battery it says on the paper work the battery lasts six months. I didn't fancy changing the battery every six months. So I got myself a AA battery holder and soldered wires from the cell conductors ...

In theory it should be slower with the twin port head.
But yes I agree it looks cooler for sure.

I've had a b31 and wm20 they both have that kink as Alan has pointed out it's for the gear oil pump. The gearbox mounting look similar to the one on some new Hudson models. Before going to the tray that both the engine and box sat in.

I have been using the dvr2 for awhile on my bikes they do exactly as they say they do and are great bit of kit. In fact I now only ever fit theses and I will do so on any other bikes I own.

Oh I think your right. The early bikes pre non ferc are the post or different.

Yes, the gearbox is fine single and twins boxes are the same other than the number stamped on them. Square four boxes are not the same! And are only for the four.
