Re: Wanted: Square 4

Taken from Draganfly's website : MK I engines are notorious for blowing head gaskets and when they do the temptation is to tighten the head studs to try and seal the joint. Do not do this, as it is most likely that the studs will pull the threads out of the alloy. The principal reason for this probl...

Re: What to do?

Reg. the change over to a roller bearing; yes, a oil supply through the entrance where the press.relieve valve is. And a newly cast timing side cover with rerouted oil supply like a Norton twin? Ah! this will remain 'just a thought ' ! About casting babbit , Charles Qua from Amstelveen used to do th...

Re: War helmet

In the Netherlands this one , being a original, would still be approved to use....
Of course you would be a fool to risk your brains unless you already have none.
And your insurance will also leave you to it in the rest of your vegetable life.

What,s it for?

Completely off any kind of motorcycle topic! What is it for ? Found on French flea market. Looks like it should be on the end of a stick to add ‘something’ to a (hot?) liquid. By pulling on the chain cord it opens a small bleed hole at the bottom. But to put what in to what ? A50CA6F6-3381-4AEF-B8A4...

Re: Knee grip mounting plates 1948VH

Buy one,
trace it on a piece of paper,
transfer that to a suitable bit of sheet metal,
cut out ,
drill holes and bend the bugger the other way.
Job done.
