Re: Starting problems on 1962 Arrow

" I have checked the Pistons, one is at TDC the other is much lower. " " Is it a firm location where the two pistons are locked together at TDC and BDC?" I'm puzzled by these comments - it doesn't take much! :-) As BH Sprint says, Arrows have pistons at 180 degrees to each other ...

1961 Leader project on EBay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ariel-Leader-Project-/222182355809?hash=item33bb19b361:g:y1AAAOSwyDxXgme1 It seems to be dismantled now but the photos show a Leader with an Avon (or similar) fairing - similar to Mk 2 Leader prototype, maybe? (Someone on here has a beautiful "Replica" of a Mk 2 L...

Has anyone ever built a serious Trials bike using an Arrow frame?

Not as far as I know but would be intrigued to be proved wrong!

Re: Back gloss or satin cylinder barrel.

Matt black might be the best choice.
Especially if you plan to actually ride the bike - it will disperse heat a little more effectively than shinier surfaces which might be useful in Spain.
