Exactly, that is why the only reason for the missing drive can be missing or wrong speedo. Speedo must be governor type till 100 mph - very rare!

For me, it is a cheap restoration.
Not correct: Head lamp (must be H52), Speedometer, ex. pipes (must be 2"), silencers, carrier, ...
Not pictured: rear lamp, handlebars, ...

Hi,
Can someone recognize this Ariel ?
I think it is Morel G from 1930, because the engine and the tank. But I am not sure because the fork spring and the upswept pipes.
Any other ideas and explanations?

88 Years on the Road and still alive

Hi,
My Ariel makes today 88 years since dispatch on 29.10.1931.
A small trip (runs good!) and later a picture at home.
This time the beer (for the birthday party) is pot pictured (but present).

Hi Jorgen,
The followers are exactly and only for the following models:
- 4-Valve 500 OHV from 1932 : vertical VH32 and VG32 and sloper SG32. (Please search for the rest ...!)
- 2-Valve 500 OHV from 1933-1934

This is not the typical crack. The typical crack is between the exhaust-valves. That is why Rudge made the radial (half-radial) head...
