Re: Arrow Battery

Ken I will probably go there eventually, but I wanted to build it as standard first. This is because it is the first time I have done a project like this. Tiny steps. But I will look at going 12volts path. I have a lot of the parts to build another 2 bikes.

Re: Patina?

I like a bike which looks loved and used. There are plenty of bikes around that look better than the day they were manufactured and I think that says good things about the restorer. But the bikes I love to look at are the ones that look as if they are ridden regularly to work, shops etc. But that is...

Re: ALTERNATIVE ARROW REAR SHOCKS

Thanks for the reply I will incorporate the springs into my next arrow, if not this one. The larger wheels I can see the advantage and maybe need to look at changing mud guards. I think I saved a photo from this forum of your bike Brian and as I remember you fitted alloy mud guards which looked good.

Re: ALTERNATIVE ARROW REAR SHOCKS

Thanks for the info guys. Plenty to work with.

The standard Arrow has 16" wheels. Brian you have 18" front and rear? What is the advantage?

Re: ALTERNATIVE ARROW REAR SHOCKS

I like the springs better than the original shocks, I have original shocks on the Arrow I am currently building. But have the parts to build another Arrow and will try to fit shocks as you have on it. I notice the rear sprocket in modified also. Any details on that you can share.

Re: ALTERNATIVE ARROW REAR SHOCKS

That looks a worthwhile mod. Can you remember which shocks you bought?
