Square 4 side stand

I was asked by a new Ariel owner (Square 4 1951) if a side stand was supplied or available for this bike.

I hope he joins the club soon and we have another Ariel on the road.

I will pass on any replies.

Justin I have three Crankcases, one with the cranks stuck in the case. I should have the barrels, heads and gear box. But I have two with the cranks out. There would be gearbox cassette complete, might be missing some clutch parts. Nothing which is going to run without a lot of work. I have most bit...

Roger thanks for some great info, I have ordered electronic ignition from Drag's. Good to know the seal is wrong way round, thanks. I have found as I go along bits having to come off and be assembled differently.

My photography skills are almost zero, but here is a photo. The keyway would have been at 9 o clock in the photo. Been looking in the manual to see if there is a figure for below TDC and might go for electronic ignition as there would be less friction. Cannot see the figure. Hope the photo explains ...

John it looks like the metal on the crank has been ground off.
