wanted half width hub brake shoes 1954-55

wanted pair of brake shoes , suitable for relining to fit half width hub on an NH pre 55 .
should be the shoes with the rectangular hole in one end C15-97 type .

south cerney engineering near cirencester glos can do rebores from 2" bore upwards .
they are motor engineers .

yes its the lifting handle, goes into the tube right next to where you have it laying . 2 tabs just under the star shaped end that twist and lock it into the "keyhole. will also be sprung loaded so it pops out a bit when you release it . bike looks really clean to me , one to ride as is , mine ...

hi Nige ; you should see at least 50mpg but its more usual to get 70mpg out of the leader or arrow . my leader easily does 70mpg and it doesnt make much difference how its ridden . im using the 7/8" carb . if you have a 1 1/16" carb and the engine has high compression heads and has had a b...

hi steve ; you could try filling it with gunwash thinners [cellulose thinner] for a few days or more and soak it , give it a shake every now and then . or try nitromors paint stripper in the tank . after washing it out and if it cleans up reasonably you can fill tank with malt vinegar and leave for ...

hi david ; im not sure if 16" wheels are allowed for racing , i thought i saw a post recently regarding this and it might need 17 or 18" if the acu rules dont allow 16" for racing on , parading may be different and rules might allow it . of course R roger will tell you all you need to...

you can also get the pistons from John ellis who does the aomcc 2 stroke spares , he can also tell you where to obtain the small end bushes if you havent already sorted those out .
