the P.O. of my W/ng ran the thing on diesel detergent oil fitting a spin off filter in the return, I have continued this practice and hopefully there will be no sludge build up. kind regards

thanks for the suggestions but nobody has touched on the inner selector mechanism, I can shorten the lever a tad more perhaps and also cant it a little more however I may be wrong but my feeling is the inner selectors/ springs etc could be a little weak. kind regards

If I lower the lever on the splines it is fouled by the foot rest , the W/ng peg mounting appears to different to the later frames, I have made this lever a tad shorter but yes I am thinking of reducing it more. kind regards

I have mentioned this on another thread, the gear lever of my W/ng seems to me to have excessive movement when selecting upwards, and downwards for this matter but this is not the problem,I have to take my foot off the peg to lift the gear lever which results in a seized hip joint and bloody agony f...
