Re: 1930 Model A

Re: 1930 Model A

Maybe a bit presumptious of me to comment Simon but isn't your front guard a mid to late 30s one to suit girders rather than the 1946 and afterwards teles with the pressed inwards part between the forks in either side to clear the struts (and lugs pointing down to attach to the struts.)?

The square four 4G frame used 1937 onward has a bigger difference betwee...

Re: Rear rim off-set?

Kevin - I think the answer is no, but please wait for someone else to confirm what I am saying: The 1936 single frame is a different number 4950-36 compared to the 1936 4F frame I have 4950-33 but I think the difference is to do with the lug for the brake pedal pivot, and perhaps one or two other mi...

1939 Square Four

I'll just leave this here and let the comments come in. I think for £35K he could have bought a new gearchange rubber.

Re: Lathes

On the pictures of the millers - the "and another one" is a Thiel I believe - well worth getting if you want a versatile tool room type miller. Look up the specs on lathes.co.uk

1937 4G engine on e bay.

Saw this as I was looking at e bay - only on for 3 days so thought it best to alert persons here asap. Not clear if the carb is with it or not - its in some of the pictures but not others.
