Hi All, When rebuilding my plunger frame I found it nearly impossible to hold the tension down on the rear plunger springs whilst starting the threads on the retaining bolt. A few bits of 15mmx50mm and 15mmx100 mm together some 8mm threaded rod were chosen as a spring compressor. While looking for m...

Re: Rear stand for 1951 plunger

Thanks Roger, problem understood, I have no stand support brackets fitted to my frame so I will have to go back to the drawing board unless I can turn some up somewhere. I can concur that a spelling I have seen is Anstey and it was a history of the development of "sprung heel" or Anstey Li...

Rear stand for 1951 plunger

Hi All, After a long wait I have finally received a rigid rear wheel stand, I know from other posts I will need to bend it a little according to this diagram: looking at the rear stirrups there doesn't appear any attachment points: Am I missing something? Where does the stand fit? I have done a lot ...
