GEARBOX BUSH

HI Would you use bearing fit ( loctite ) wen you fit new (4th) gear sleeve bushes on a GB 5 Gearbox and would you put a bit of greece in the bearings wen i am rebuilding it or just use oil :?:

if you need to get springs look up harlow springs they have them on the shelf look at my post in suppliers on this forum they are very good and made all my different types of springs and they have all the airel spring parts numbers :?: and a lot cheaper and a lot quicker because they are makers :!:

HI Think the different torque setting is to do with what type of head gasket and bolts you use with lots of new head gaskets and bolts we have used over the years the gasket and bolt makers give you new torque and fitting instructions for their gaskets and bolts :!:

HI Tonyh i like the rear wheel it goes very well with the age of the bike i have been using Japaneses wheels but i like the Enfleld font wheel you have used that is what i am going to look into next for my one keep the posts coming 8-) :)

that is a good article on forks it is something i have not look into all i know is my Greeves challenger has got that type of forks you learn something new everyday on the forum thank you for putting up the post 8-) :)

HI Tonyh i like the disc brake with out changing the forks you have mad a good job i must have a look at later bike wheels i normally change the forks to use a discs brakes i did not think about the later Enfields because all the old Enfields i have got are drum brakes keep up the good work 8-) :)

keep us posted i like to see how you get on with it the triumph engine will make a good bike and reliable and easy to get parts i done a sq4 with a harley engine but now i was thinking of doing one like you are with a triumph engine to make a fast runaround 8-) :)
