hi terry i think it can be to drain the the crankcase or use a vacuum or presser gauge on to see what is going on in the crankcase :!:

hi i got a complete new damper kit from the bottom yoke to the knob with ariel on it i know it is a copy and the knob is not that bad and the rest of it you will no know the difference and for £12 for the lot at kempton park i was well happy :D :D and if you have sidecar you normally have a damper f...

HI Steven good luck,but i know you will soon fix it, and what is the zip ties for is it to stop you losing the gear change lever if it came off and what happened to the casing by the kickstart to need welding :?:

hi the Ariel is a very late 1953 to 1955 and i think the rider is a 1954 like i am to and i, have a December 1953 red hunter with a swinging arm half width hubs its a nice old Ariel 8-) :D and i hope someone can shed light on where it is now

hi it is not coming up on the DVLA site and if it was not re registered wen dvla done a update a few years ago and they change the logbooks , and sworn it off the road it did not go on their site, but it can be still in someone's shed so

hi Klaus i have fitted a damper knob with a spring under it, wen i got my Ariel it did not have a spring under the knob and i noted it was it was coming loose now it seems ok with the spring :D

hi their is a adapter you can fit for the clutch that makes it lighter they use them on trials bikes , see if john budgen has got one :?:

HI Nev i have found two sets of bars they USA style one is from armours that are 30" wide but they look like they have not got knurling on them, and a set by tj wassell but they are 32.5" wide and they have got knurling on them , my bars are 28" wide i do not know witch is the best on...
