It should be possible to make a clear plastic inspection cap out of perspex or similar ,or fit a glass window to an inspection cap somehow like modern bike have on there crankcases ,older Harleys had a plug witch was replaced by a clear plastic plug to use a strobe light . Johnny , yes they are 6 inch rise ,35 inches wide and 5 inch approx pull back , the knurling does protrude 1/4 inch each side of the ally handle bar clamp, 1958 model , theres plenty of knurling under the clamp , or you could try these ape-hangers

Johnny , I bought a pair of these bars off Ebay , they have dimples and I did 280 miles Sunday and they were perfect , they have a very good selection of bars

That seems a bit pricey for a chassis and theres the job of removing wheel axle , mudguard and attachment points to change to left side , it looks like it was a Coffin carrier or for carrying the wounded on stretchers , it would be interesting to see it complete

Bernie , I wouldnt want to have four adults on an outfit , I once had 3 , me one in the sidecar and one pillion , never again I would be very concerned about the weight causing a lot of wear and strain on the frame and fittings , even a double adult sidecar carrying 2 adults is pushing it , but the ...

Mike you can lawfully use old coins that are no longer in circulation before May 1969 , and it would be nice to use the same year as your bike but be carefull not to drill that 1933 penny

Mike you are under arrest for defacing the Queens head , only joking , but it could still be an offence to deface the Queens head on coins and stamps
I regularly soldered coins onto copper pipes as a tempory cap and often wondered if it was legal
