Re: arrow timing

Hi Roger
Your suggestion of turning the back plate worked. No idea why as it was standard but thanks anyway

Re: arrow timing

Thanks guys
A near neighbour suggested taking the threads off the set screws as they are to replace ,but that didn't work so turning the back plate sounds good.

Thanks again, I will let you know if it works

Re: Ariel Arrow rear mudguard question.

hi Nick
the lower hole you show in your pic is the hole for the brake light cable to pass through and not a fixing hole. It looks to me your rear inner mud guard could be replacement of unknown birth.

Re: Re: Daily Fixing and Riding Diary on a mainly Ariel 2018

Hi Steve
You must have been at Wickham early or very late as from 9.30 till 11.00 you could hardly park a bike or walk around, and I missed you,
Spring ride out how about Greenham common control tower as it is now has a tea room and visitor center.

hi Steve
I can normaly get about 55/60 to the gallon but after 4or 5 miles in first or second gear it seems more like 25 as on checking back home I was on fumes but got back ok, thanks for a different ride out.

Re: Float sticking

Hi John
Are you sure it is the needle that,s sticking as I had the opposite happen, turning on the fuel the float chamber flooded only to find the shaft that the float moves on had a black line on it and cleaning the shaft the float moved freely and no more flooding. Just a thought.
