KH petrol tank

I have a rigid/plunger petrol tank that I do not need. I would like to swap it for a rigid/plunger single petrol tank.

Re: 1953 plunger NH

Well Paul, lets call it reasonable. I hope to find a young lad who cant afford the high prices of the old Ariels nowadays. We need to find young people to take over our hobby when we are old and can't handle our Ariels anymore.
So let see.

Re: Square four swing arm help

Hello Jeth, apart from other things the RPF frame needs to be elongated by ca 2" to make room for the Square engine. I do have a 1955 Frame kit that had been adapted for the use of a square 4 engine. In case you are interested please get in touch with me "kl_gerhard@gmx.de". Regards K...

Re: First day out

Hello Paul, what a nice bike. Well done. Are the wheels of your bike both 19"? On my swingarm square the back wheel was 18" in the first place resulting a very limited groundclearance when cornering. When I changed to 19" in the back it was perfect. I still have a 2nd swingarm Square ...

VHA which carburettor?

I am busy with the last details to get my VHA back on the road. Due to the cylinderhead design of the VHA engine the top of my monobloc is getting very close to the rear frame lug to fix the tank. Also the throttle cable is tightly pressed in between by the petroltank. What is the experience of the ...

Re: 1953 single rear brake cable

Today I fitted the cable and adjusted the brake by the fulcrum. Seems to work well. But feels actually quite pressed in, most likely to avoid an unwanted lockup when the plunger is compressed.
Regards Klaus
PS: the outer cable measures 26,8 cm not mm as I stated above!
