Ariel VCH - National Motorcycle museum

Are there more information in this group regarding the VCH bike at the National Motorcycle Museum?
Would be fun to know the engine number and previous history.

Denmark ordered a few HS frames with sidecar frame lugs. KSS108 is a HS delivered to Denmark.

Re: VCH.

Single lobe camshaft with followers can be fitted to the magnesium crankcase with some grinding in one of the pushrod holes in the crankcase.

VH 1953 - Wedgewood blue

How common is it with Wedgewood Blue colour to VH bikes in 1952 & 1953?
Strange with a model called Red Hunter and Blue colour!

A blue VH from 1953 vad just turned up in Sweden. I thought that Wedgewood Blue only was used to VHA & VCH when it was a single cylinder bike!

VCH UK bikes - engine numbers ?

Attaching five photos of UK owned VCH bikes.
Would it be possible to get more info about these bikes?

Better photos, info and engine numbers?
I would like to update my old VCH article with more pictures & information.

Rear stand drawing

Is there a drawing available for the rear stand used to rigid frames from 1939 to 1953?

Have a look att this nice VHA from 1953: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRR9nsVBfdw With the small fuel tank and fold able kick it looks more lika a VCH. I'm still looking for a photo of a VCH fitted with plunger spring frame. Let me know if you have a photo of such a bike in your archive. /Ralf Arv...
