Ariel OG 250s FLP 806 and FKT 904

There's an advertisement on Ebay with a picture of two 1939 Ariel OG 250s with registration numbers FLP 806 and FKT 904. The man who put them on is looking for them as they both belonged to his Uncle some years ago. FLP 806 featured in the September 2007 Cheval when owned by his Uncle Gerard Pettit....

Re: FOR SALE : Ariel KG500 Deluxe Twin 1950

I was over at Audley End Classics today and while I was there I had a look at the KG500. It looks to be in very nice condition and starts and runs very well. It even has a side stand which is handy. Unfortunately I have far too many bikes and no room for another. I'd better say I have no connection ...

Re: Welbike on Ebay

When I was working in Sri Lanka in about 2006 I used to roam around the hills on my infrequent days off. One day I passed a remote house with a BSA B31 in the garden so I stopped and knocked on the door. The man invited me in for some tea and asked me if I like old bikes. When I replied I did he led...

Re: An Unusual Frame Number.

I had a similar question with a '39 OG 250 I was restoring. It has a V5C, was registered decades ago but when I looked at both the frame and engine numbers the prefix for the frame wasn't an Ariel one and the engine prefix was for a '35 engine. There was no sign of the numbers being removed and re-s...

Re: Feked exhaust pipe for NG

I get my pipes and silencers from Feked when I can't find originals and they've always been spot on. I can't fault them for service either.

Geoff Duke Colt

A friend of mine is looking at building a Geoff Duke Trials Colt replica but has little information to go on. Has anyone built one themselves or have any photo's or info beyond the little on the internet? He'll be grateful for anything anyone can help with.

Ariel Photo's on Ebay

There are some photo's of what looks to be a new Ariel 600 OHV Square Four and a Triumph on ebay. They're surrounded by what could be apprentices? The Ariel, registration number HFC894 has a Union Jack on the tank. Is this of significance? I can see they have blackout headlamp shrouds on so WW2 era....

1938 Square Four Parts Needed

Asking for a friend. Does anyone have a set of girder forks, front wheel and pair of mudguards for a 1938 Square Four for sale or swap?

Thanks in advance!
