Re: FOR SALE : 100mph PA speedo

Hi Johnny
What is your suggestion then if you have an original bike with a PA speedo, it seems to be tempting fate to leave it parked anywhere . The villians will soon find a way of detaching your speedo panel complete for resale ?

Re: 3 brush dynamo

I suspect the field coil is no different from the 2 brush type so should be readily available. The 2 main brushes are the same as the later type so available. The third brush is much thinner and probably difficult to find but I am pretty sure I still have some NOS original ones which are of no use ...

Re: 3 brush dynamo

Mine used to work but after a while it would only work after running for a while ,then stopped altogether. When I stripped it I found the coil covering had soaked in oil and come torn loose and one brush was broken . I have tried to remove the coil holding piece and that wont come loose , so I'll ha...

3 brush dynamo

I am trying to get my 1935 VH lighting working and find the Dynamo needs rebuilding. It is a 3 brush with built in relay. Paul Dunn can no longer repair 3 Brush types, can anyone recommend another engineer to rebuld mine. It needs a new Field coil and at least a set of brushes and probably an armatu...

Re: WNG 4 sale on Carandclassic

The front forks look too steep and the links aren't parallel. It has a modern fuel tap, the rack and exhaust are mild unpainted steel. However I dont agree with all this nit-picking. At least it is all together making a complete bike instead of a box full of bits.
