Lucas MN1E Magdyno on my 1938 square four

I was setting up the points on the MN1E magneto on my 1938 square four when I realised that instead of the fibre heel touching the cam ring to open the points, the points were being opened by the head of the screw holding the leaf spring to the fibre heel----(ie the screw has around head and is catc...

1938 ARIEL SQUARE FOUR REAR BRAKE PEDAL LEVER

I have just fitted the rear brake foot brake pedal and rod, the brakes go 'on' fine but the foot pedal does not come fully back to the stop pin and is very floppy and it is not fully releasing the brakes. Re: 1938 ARIEL SQUARE FOUR CLUTCH PUSH ROD

Thanks for your reply Mick, this was my dad's bike who ran it for many years with a side car and still with the original BA gearbox and clutch--Yes the ball is in place and is still too short but the 13-7/16" push rod seems about right.
