Military grade canvas

I have worn holes in my pannier bags, from carrying stuff over the past 5 years.
Not complaining as I use the bike a lot.

Being tight, I just need to patch the corners and bottom with more canvas ( rather than buy new ....)

Where does one get small sheets of the real good military canvas from ?

I have a 47 500 twinport, running a later recon pump. The gauge shows 60 odd psi cold, at idle, and a bit more at speed. When hot it's around 10/20 idle and maybe 30 at speed. It's done that for years. When it did this when I first had it, the local branch guys told me that's why guages were deleted...

There are various mods (modifications) which can be run with the base software of this forum. The problem is that they are often unsupported on the upgrades, which mean you either cannot use them, you have to modify them to work or you run them with possible issues. I currently do not run any mods, ...

I found two swing=arm downpipes in the garage. Both are in really good condition, with only a few blemishes. One is very likely from a VH500 swingarm with an Iron engine (stub on the head) 1 7/8" at the stub end and 1 3/4" elsewhere - a little yellowing at the head end but really good One ...
