7/8" bars.
Looks like the cable bit is brass and pressed over the steel tube - might be soldered on externally

Hi there. Over Winter my modified 1947 Square 4 was stolen from near Milton Keynes. It was in a container (supposedly secure) whilst the tank was repaired and the mudguards and toolbox repainted (so they were not with the bike when taken). Military grade canvas

I have worn holes in my pannier bags, from carrying stuff over the past 5 years.
Not complaining as I use the bike a lot.

Being tight, I just need to patch the corners and bottom with more canvas ( rather than buy new ....)

Where does one get small sheets of the real good military canvas from ?
