Concentric Carb?
Not an ideal carb to use on a any square four, to much suction going on and also the problem with the slide sticking. I ditched my Concentric, I kept running out of spare underpants. Keith

I have had the same problem the mainshaft bushes worn allowing movent on the clutch basket. Also check the mainshaft roller bearing for wear also.

“Wow” remove shock absorber and main drive chain, check to see if you have any lateral movement by grabbing hold of the clutch basket with both hands, slackness on main-shaft would indicate worn bearings in the gearbox. Hi Campell

I have one in my workshop it has had new aluminum fins welded into position together with welding two the main exhaust ports. I will check it out tommorow and send some pictures down. Regards Keith

Hi Johnny If you have a tig welder mate don't waste your time with Map gas. You will have to use pure argon (no Argon mixes ). You will have problems with crap coming up from the weld if it's chain case that has been oil. Porous oil comes out of the aluminum castings. But I always grind back and wel...
