Brunswick Green is very pretty and looks absolutely right on a colt. It has slightly more yellow content than BRG.

I'm sure it's been discussed somewhere on the net recently. Make sure you get a definitive answer. Someone in the club must know.

I think you need someone to give you a RAL code. I have seen some bikes done to 'original' spec where the shade was wrong and they just look so 'wrong'!

I remember in the 1980s there was a barn in Amersham stocked full of new Ariel parts from the factory. I bought several colt parts including a new petrol tank, cotton sleeved wiring loom complete with chunky switch and other delights. Sadly those days have passed.

Remember there are 2 types of colt headlamp and wiring harness. Yours would be the early type with a single large Wipac switch on the top of the headlamp, the later type has 2 separate switches. Your original rectifier would be the large disc type which if you can find one you could fit just as a co...

Coming from a simpleton such as myself with a simple mono lung banger it seems square fours are the domain of wizards and sorcerers. I can only look on in awe and try not to be too smug about how easy my life is.
