From your info i would make it late 1953 KHA but the fluted tank could be a mix unless it had a swinging arm at the rear.

If you tighten the rockeroillines to much than the rockers will stick when warm and get noisy.

You can fit other wheels but it will never be easy, the same goes for "of the shelf" mudguards.

Strange thing is that in the first "The Motor Cycle" of March 31st 1903 there is no mentioning of any Ariel, this could be becouse they where not advertising in that book.

They do the emissions on the year of building, that's easier for them, campingcars are longer allowed as they are living longer with low miledge, they are judged on weight.
