Re: Rear lamp identification

Hi Alan,
I have two MT110 lamps, each having a different type of lens.
Possibly the glass, jewelled lens is pre-war. This is what I have on the 37RH.
My NOS war department MT110 has a plain red plastic lens.

I always wondered what it was as there are no markings. I can send a photo when I return home next month. I'm not meaning to hijack your topic but to ad...

Re: ARIEL WG 500 OHV 1933 in CZ

It also look like the outer primary chain case has been painted. It is a little too perfect. Perhaps the engine case has been painted also as I see no engine number and where is the big cast ARIEL usually below the engine number? Perhaps blended out but... It is sort of a "find all of the diffe...

Re: Loctite Advice

Thank you Paul and Alan. I have used the Blue Loctite and have been able to remove the locked nuts. I will do as suggested and use the locking tab and perhaps Blue Loctite as extra insurance. The early primary covers are difficult to source and I do not want to risk potential damage. One more questi...

Re: Loctite Advice

Would loctite be recommended for use between the two engine shock absorber nuts in the primary drive, instead of the locking tab washer?
