Re: Battery charging on Arrow

Hi Ken, I notice from the A-reg website that they do not recommend using one of AGM burglar alarm type batteries (spade terminals). Assuming you haven't got one of these and your battery is at least a 5 ampere hour one and in good condition then it could be that your combined rectifier/voltage regul...

Re: Draganfly web site

Works ok on my laptop but after logging in (and going through the 'I'm not a robot' bit) you will need to go to your address details and update them, both the Billing Address and Shipping Address pages, saving each pages changes at the bottom. Once updated and saved your details should be and stay c...

Re: NH 350 - sprockets and chain wheels

It is highly likely that different sprockets have been changed over the years. All Ariel GB gearboxes have a 19 tooth sprocket across the range as standard. Swinging arm NH's have a 19 tooth engine sprocket as standard. The standard Burman clutch wheel has 44 teeth and the standard rear combined spr...

Re: Magneto help please

Hi Chris, There is a simple tool that can be easily made to lock the magneto. Having bent the tab washer back on the central nut, lock the shaft with the tool and undo the nut normally. If the fibre dynamo drive wheel is ok in your other mag then maybe stick that in the one that came off the bike ? ...

Hi Gui, NH standard engine sprocket is 19 teeth. Standard clutch wheel is 44 teeth. Standard GB gearbox sprocket is 19 teeth. Standard rear sprocket/brake drum is 47 teeth. Information from Waller, Draganfly's website and an old Draganfly Ariel catalogue. All the best and Happy New Year. Keith.

Re: Charging issue with 58 Huntmaster

Hi Nick, If I was you I would start with looking at the dynamo again and checking that. I use a digital multi-meter and have no issues at all with my meter when checking my charging system so don't worry too much about your meter just yet. Attached is a Lucas document which should help you with a vo...

Re: Battery Voltage Monitor

Yes, like Adrian, I prefer a digital voltmeter. Got one on my old (dare I say it !) 1965 Honda which has proved useful. Bought it off ebay from one of the uk based firms that do camping van/caravan supplies. Be careful if you are thinking of buying from ebay as there are loads of very cheap foreign ...
