Re: E-Bay has it's uses

Great find Steve. Funny about the seller saying it was not recorded at DVLA as a DVLA online enquiry check clearly shows it is. Interestingly the check shows it as being black in colour where it looks red in the photo you posted ;) Cheers Alan I think someone did not check or was being economical w...

E-Bay has it's uses

Just having a quick look at E-bay found the log book for my Bike advertised as not cancelled no records held by the DVLC, strange seeing as I own it and have the log book, still good to re-unite the original log book with machine after about forty years.

Re: ariel single cam gear

Is it a total weight/change of material issue? are the all the same weight holes or not, are they all the same thickness? just a thought.

Re: My project Square Four 4F 600 1939

That's a very robust looking stand Marco, were you not tempted to put on a larger foot lifting arm to assist with the weight or does it roll on the stand quite easily?
Very nice work Steve.

Re: Daily Riding Diary on an Ariel

Must be a good cafe a YZF750R and a FH650 cyclone together can't beat it, shame the Yam is not the red and black scheme would have been a match.

Re: Which model to go for

I would think it all depends on your budget, your available time, and mechanical and engineering capabilities, and your intended use I went for singles because of their rugged simplicity and availability at a reasonable price I use the VH for the journey to work so it has work in modern traffic condit...
