For Sale - Arrow project

Hi all, due to a rapid change of plan, (selling two bikes and part-exchanging one to obtain another bike! - an Ariel), I need to move on the Arrow project I bought around 18 months ago. It came from a friend who was relocating, and he hadn't used it since 1971. It's a '63 Arrow that I am very reliab...

To be honest, have you ever looked at the wartime rations? A week back then was less than many people eat in a day now! Very few fat people in those days.

I try to build up wheels myself, usually on a flat table which makes getting the offset close to correct quite easily. I simply put the brake flange edge flat on the table, then use those little plastic wedges that builders and window fitters use to get the rim to the correct height (ie the offset)....

Glyptal do an internal engine paint that is intended to be painted inside the engine to seal porous surfaces, don't know if your cracks are too wide? It's available from Moss. There are others also, I think POR15 do one.

Intrigued to know why re-balancing a square four crank is a problem? There are quite a few dynamic balancing companies around, the most well known in the South (West) at least is Bassett Down.

If you connect the two alternator wires to gather for a full 12volt doesn't that render the 'emergency' start facility irrelevant if not in fact inoperable?
