There is no noise inside a Schubert helmet. Some times I'm scared by a strange noise, which turns out to be myself humming.

The springs are identical for 1929-32. Don't let the pictures fool you. In 1931 the number is changed to 4606-29, but the old part numbers are still in the partlist as an ordernumber and can be used for reference. It's a Square Four. Don't ride it, unless you have cleaned out the oilchannels in the crankshafts. And it can't be done without taking the engine apart.

If you use a bigger innertube, it might crease inside the tyre. But why should it not be possible to use a slightly smaller tube? After all is it rubber and should be able to stretch a little, unless if you use one of the cheap ones which are "holy" already when new.

Are you sure that metal loaded filler is a good idea? One of the purposes of the cap is to insulate electrically. Fibre loaded might be better.
