Ariel Leader VIN plates

Noticed a couple of VIN plates for Leader for sale on Ebay. Clearly these are no use to anyone unless you have the original frames as well. It is illegal to put them on anything other than the original frame. There is bidding on both so someone clearly has a use for them. Seller says'" Be handy...

My understanding is that BSP parallel thread fittings (which is what the petrol taps thread/union type are) have a 60 degree cone angle. I have measured an image of a solder on nipple in Autocad and the angle of the sealing faces (marked in your photo) was 60 degrees.
