another one of Jerry's. The sprinter was destroyed in the fire at nmm not sure now, there was a comment recently it went to Holland to be repaired but disappeared Vincent

Just a thought Ian but have you tried the club black Ariel spares or the club gearbox spares or even single spares, Pete Kemp
Can most times get you out of trouble. Always pays to try club first, it's loyalty that keeps it going .

I checked my records and turns out I bought it at founders day early 90's and had written NOS Healey head so I'm guessing it was their mod ...

Good progress Paul. I noticed on the cylinder head between the exhaust ports there is a hole cut in the fins . Is this a Healey mod ?

I use Morris oils Ring Free in my MK2 as recommended by an experienced Arielist and high mileage man the late Bob Brassington.
The club also negotiated discount for members ;)
