Renovation Spares have a bad reputation for both quality and customer service; ask around before you use them. Bruce's replicas look exacty right.

Thanks for the advice Dave, I'll give it a more detailed inspection on that lug. I think you're right about the paint (powder coat) filling it but maybe a trace of the number can be found... Don't want to be sanding paint off to find it!

Location of frame number on 1929 Model A

Hi,
Can anyone tell me where this ought to be please? My MOT man was looking for it. The frame had become rust pitted then blasted and painted so no number can (easily) be found. I thought that at least if I knew exactly where to look then a closer inspection would reveal some trace.
