Wanted 4G frame, can swap ES prefix ('53 MkI or MkII) frame

Hi all,

I'm looking for a '37 to '48 square four 4G frame if anyone has one please? I've got an 1953 ES prefix frame (MkI or MkII) surplus to requirements for a swap if that helps.

Cheers
Graham

Wanted - WNG forks

Hi all,
I'm needing a set of WNG forks if anyone has a pair or knows someone who does please? Complete and good condition would be ideal but am prepared to take on some repairs if necessary. Even a set of the shorter standard girders would be ok if they need retubing.
Thanks
Graham

Re: 1934 Red Hunter

The oil pipe is intended to feed the inlet valve guide however, on my own '34 head, the boss exists but is not drilled and tapped. Maybe a previous owner retained the pipe to assist crankcase breathing?

Wanted - 1955 VH petrol tank

A request for a friend... Looking for a tank to fit a 1955 VH, with no leaks or bad corrosion to the base, cosmetic appearance not so important.

Also, if anyone can recommend a supplier of re-pro tanks that look correct and fit correctly then that would also be of interest.

Thanks :)

Keith, that item looks like what I remembered and Adrie says was used by Matchless. Thanks both, for the prompt responses. :-)

Quieter exhausts?

Hi folks, May be an odd request but I'd like to make my Huntmaster quieter. It's running a siamesed exhaust into an Ariel-type silencer which is pretty-much straight-through. The silencer is in good condition so I don't really want to buy a new one. Can I weld something onto the exhaust pipe to incr...

PCV on Huntmaster (timed?) crankcase breather?

Hi folks, There's been some informative discussion about the benefits of PCVs but I've not found an answer to the question of... Would any benefit be gained by fitting a PCV downstream of the existing crankcase breather on an FH engine? ie. Is the existing breather timing mechanism sufficient to mak...

Re: KH cam followers

Paul, Colin Reed-Aspley has stocks of replacement guides and these also have small slots on the external surface along their length to assist in draining oil from the head to avoid the tendency for these engines to over-oil. Not sure what the bore diameters are but I'd guess the later size.
