Done a bit of searching and if you go on the amazon site and search for Garryflex abrasive blocks, these seem to be the modern day equivalent and are available . Hope this is helpful I to have used the original loyblox and found it a good product.

The sump plate is available through the Ariel club via Bruce Longman its a square four one and fits well, I've got one on my KH comes with the drain bolt and the bottom is finned hope this is some help. Had to replace mine as it had a hair line crack on one corner.

Thanks for the offer Simon but I have contacted Bruce Longman and he has new ones in stock with a central drain bolt which is magnetic. So I due course I will be sending him cheque to cover cost sump plate and p and p. regards Kevin.

KH 500 sump plate

Looking for a sump plate for a iron head KH 500 the one on my bike has a hair line on one corner. I have contacted Dragonfly but their heavy duty one is on back order and they cannot give me a time when they will be in stock. Hoping that someone is able to help thanks in advance Kevin Bowman.

Does any owner of a KH500 know the oil capacity of the engine, mines a 1951 rigid model I have a copy of the Waller book and a copy of the dragonfly owners guide but cannot find the quantity listed, there is no markings on the oil tank giving levels. My Triumph t100c holds 6 pints so would have thou...

Hi Simon, The go pro camera was fitted to the tank with sat nav screen type mount was only going nice and steady so not a problem. Would be nice to meet up sometime as not many of us in Norfolk.

I used T and L engineering they did the line boring on the crankcases and reground and re balanced the crank on my KH happy with the work they did for me Barry is the man to speak to. They are at pear tree farm wilstead road elstow beds MK42 9YG tel 01234 352418 a lot closer to you than deepest wales

i love the patina once its been restored all that is lost forever, if it were mine i would do engine gearbox brakes etc and then run it then if you cannot live with it you can then restore it but once restored you cannot go back. i left mine oily rag and love the look. i am also based in norfolk kin...
