Re balance factor, when rebuilding my 1951 KH I had the crankshaft re balanced at T and L engineering just looked at the paperwork 62% was the figure that they gave. It was not the kickstart return spring that was the problem it was the spring that goes over the pinion sleeve when compressed up solid there was not enough clearance to allow the ratchet gears to pass on the return stroke of the kickstart. kevin
