Re: 1939 350 engine

BE is a 1939 350 civilian 350 engine number Thank you John, that's much appreciated. At least I know what kind of bike to build, if it ever happens. I'm rather glad it's civilian as the livery is so much brighter than the wng, which although pretty much the same machine looks as if its had the fun ...

Re: 1939 350 engine

Thanks for the replies both. I think they highlight the problem, that is, that it could have been one of the last civilian ones before wng. At least neither of you said, the casing belongs on another engine altogether. I'll have to trace the number in a bit more detail, which is BE 1205. Thanks Dave...

1939 350 engine

Hello all, I found an old 350 single engine in a scrapheap about a year ago and have identified it as a 1939 one via Draganfly m/cs. One thing that puzzles me is that the side casing covering the magneto chain has "RH" on it as opposed to ng or nh. Why is this ? On stripdown, which I'm hal...

Re: Overall frame drawing regarding a Ariel mod B 1929

Hi Stefano, the only thing I can suggest is that you find an engineer with access to the appropriate drawing / modeling software. Solidworks is very good. Try your nearest university as someone will have the expertise to measure your frame and the model it in 3D; from this parts can be printed indiv...

Re: Digtial calipers at Aldi stores (UK)

Those Lidl ones are not a bad copy of the real ones. The batteries they supply with them are for test purposes only in my opinion and should be replaced with a good know brand asap. Been using a set for a large project over the last 5 months whilst my collegue is using some "real ones"; no...

Re: Wanted WNG Frame and Forks.

No worries, thanks for replying. To be honest I haven't started looking in ernest yet as am tied up with work. I've yet to learn the selection of frames I can use for a build. Must try and research it.

Cheers, Steve

Re: Wanted WNG Frame and Forks.

Hello, I'm probably too late, but might be interested in your frame. steve.mccarthy45@gmail.com.
I have a '39 350 single lump and a '51 600sv lump. If it is rigid and would do either get in touch.

Re: Wanted WNG Frame and Forks.

Hello, I might be interested in your frame if its a rigid and will take either a 1939 350 single(nh/vh) or a 1951 sv 600 single(vb).
