John, I use Rustoleum combiColor (satin for my WNG...see my post in WNG section of forum)) and it gives a good hard finish when its fully hardened. Cheers Alan did you brush that on or spray it ? I am lucky enough to have a basement and a one of the rooms down there is heated ... I was thinking of ...

I bought a third WNG project earlier this year. Mostly there, strange mudguards and a few other bits missing but some really good original bits though (jaeger early speedo, long throttle etc). Different shades of handpainted green, black and rust. cos I have two WNG's on the road (with panniers etc ...

Thanks again everyone for your replies, I’ll give Mr.Cooper a call and we’ll go from there. With regards flooding, I’m running the bike on an AMAL concentric carb, runs great and I do have the decompressor all intact. If it was flooding (as some people suggested) wouldn’t the plug be wet with fuel ...

I have an original long twist grip for my earlier WNG - I can measure or take a picture if anyone wants ?

The project also came with a top feed carb and a military "jaeger type" speedo, so I think it's genuine to the bike.

I have a few F cams How much does it cost for franklin to turn one into something a little fruity ? I ask as I have a WNG, which I am making into a bobber (the stuff is in powdercoat now).
