actually. No
I opened three other toolboxes and none of them have the chain in either !!! Although they all have the loop on the pocket ?
Maybe it goes under one of the bracket bolts ?

Re: New VB piston

here you go. mine from 2 months back.
Off one of my russian bikes, that I was running in. I suspect I had the timing over advanced, after failing to understand that there was a limiter screw in the points assembly.

Got to this point in less than a hundred miles ...

Re: Ariel Toolbox ???

There you go.
Wrong holes welded up, new holes for correct brackets and new tab welded underneath. Sorted.

Just need (eventually) one of those lever toolbox knobs

Re: Ariel Toolbox ???

yeah.
It's got the end bit, for the chain, inside too.

I've cut the tab off and I'll weld another in the right place and remake the holes for the brackets.

Well odd.

Re: Ariel Toolbox ???

I get that it might be slightly different, but it doesn't have enough holes in the top either ?
There should be two on the back and two on the top, for a rigid, or four on top for a plunger ?

Ariel Toolbox ???

This is odd. Came with my WNG project but bottom bracket doesn't really align Looks to be Ariel but not enough holes to mount it ? I can, of course, make it fit .... 69656581_2411718169103878_1708684367129214976_n.jpg 69346978_2417659111887531_531332676225859584_n.jpg 69887771_1565086786967104_51952...

Re: Idle W/NG

With a worn carb/slide, the idle speed will vary. You can stop and it'll idle perfect, next time it's racing and next time it stalls.

I've resleeved carbs, and bought new ones, and it's still best to set the idle to a little fast at full advance - you can slow it with the lever, if you want to.
