NH Clutch assembly

Hello, Me again. Just putting the clutch together on the NH.. surprised to find it only uses two cork plates!
When fitting new ones, do I soak the cork plates in oil or fit them dry?
Thanks Simon

Re: Advice on primary side assembly

Thanks chaps.
I was really careful to tighten it evenly. I’m tempted to see how it goes as I’m pretty sure it’s not actually binding on the casing. If it holds oil I’m tempted to leave it for now.

Re: GB gearbox question

Yes, I’m rotating the gearbox sprocket and the shaft. It is selecting but it takes a bit of firm pressure. I think I’ll try it with oil in it to see if that improves it. I haven’t taken the gear cluster to bits. I opened the box up, cleaned it all and put it back together so it’s all very dry.

Re: GB gearbox question

Thanks for the replies. I have fitted the cover now. I’m not 100% that all is well. With the side cover off I could rotate the drum and, I think select all gears. With it on I don’t find it as easy to tell but there is no oil in it yet and I still have work to do before I can start her up. The bike ...

GB gearbox question

Hi all.

Before I fit the side cover on my GB gearbox.
What position does the selector drum need to be in?
