Re: My latest project

Somebody will jump on me if I am wrong, but isn't a lifting handle to help get it onto the main stand.

Re: Further carburation questions...

Might be of interest : I was attempting to assemble 1 good carb ( 375 monobloc ) from 2 for a friend. One of the bodies had a 4 stroke emulsion tube ( the brass tube that protrudes into the venturi) i.e. it has a 'square' top instead of being cut away on the engine side. The cut away version is , I ...

Re: Ariel Arrow Racer/Parade/Sprint bike update

Thanks for the update David. Are you going to come hillclimbing with us in the NHCA next year ?. There could be 3 Arrows/Leaders out there if you do.

I had to register my Transalp and it took a couple of weeks in total. Phone them after a few days. I found them very helpful.

Re: How to remove swinging arm bush.

They are as tight as a tight thing. Luckily we've got a press but even then they didn't want to come. If you don't have access to a press then Rogers method will work. Use decent saw blades or you could be sawing for a long time.

Re: Arrow Enfield Airfield? Gearbox problem

Unbeatable Arrows

Once again Mike Hose has won the Pre TT Classic Lightweight race on the Southern 100 circuit in the Isle of Man. 9 seconds was the margin from Ewan Hamilton on a very quick Suzuki Super 6. Does this mean all the Suzuki boys will be fitting Ariel pistons from now on ? And our own Jess (Roger) has had...

Re: Float sticking

Has it got a rubber tip on it ? I have heard of the rubber swelling and sticking. I think you can get a Viton tipped needle that ( hopefully ) cures this.
