David, Not sure whether this information helps but, on the Clock face of the Leader speedometer it is marked up 1584 that I've always taken to be the relevant ratio for use on the Leader. Hi Paul, From an undated page from an old Cheval we can see that Brians jaunt across America took place in 1976 so might have been in print late 76 more likely 1977. Roger
