Re: 1957 Huntmaster cush drive splined sleeve

Simon, I've sorted this one last night by making up a new spacer to bring 10476-54 out by another 1/4". Thanks to my trusty old Myford, the job now seems to be done and the chain-line is ok. Thanks again.

Re: 1957 Huntmaster cush drive splined sleeve

Thanks for the quick responses, Roger and Simon. The bike has the FERC and as the clutch fits nicely, spins freely and does not rub on the primary case I am assuming that I have the correct mainshaft in the gearbox. (The Gearbox is the original on the bike, but that of course means little when it ha...

1957 Huntmaster cush drive splined sleeve

I need some advice on the bike I am rebuilding from a number of boxes. I am currently assembling the primary drive side and have a problem with the engine sprocket and its sleeve. It has the cush drive spacer 10476-54 fitted inboard but when I offer the engine sprocket on its splined sleeve onto the...

Help with chaincase on 1957 FH

I need some advice on my 57 Huntmaster chaincase. I've got a bike that came in five boxes and so far I've managed to get it to a quite advanced stage while knowing basically feck all about it, but based on my old (long gone) Square 4 and umpteen other British bikes. Problem is, the primary chaincase...

NVM 630 Mk II Square 4

Does anyone know the whereabouts of my old Square 4? It went to Boston, USA in about 1994 but is back on the DVLA database as being on SORN. Would love to see it again. I really regret selling it.

Huntmaster petrol tank distance tube 5057-57

First post on here since rejoining from pre-internet days, so apologies if this is in the wrong section. I'm restoring a 1957 Huntmaster and am missing the petrol tank mounting bolt distance tube. Draganfly are out of stock, but it is a simple item to make on my Myford if only I had the overall leng...
