Noticed I have some slack in the steering stem bearings so was going to first try tightening the adjuster nuts and was hoping someone could tell me what size spanner(s) I need, going to try make two but need the exact size please. Thanks

If there is no hole there, I'd route it over the tank mount and go up between the tank and the headstock from there. Personally, I'd worry more about the choke/throttle cables. On my bike, there is very little room above the carburetter for a bend in the cable before you hit the bottom of the tank....

What are they and most importantly what are they for?????
Looks as if the have/had a “loop” at the top to hold something but this part has rusted away.
Can’t find anything like them in my parts book either.

Engine is a 41 WNG

This is what I’m faced with on the tank mount, and yes I did check maybe the front holes had been welded up at some time but I’m pretty sure they haven’t..

Should I just drill a hole and be done with it??
What would YOU do??
