Re: Iron heads for NG/NH

With some clever cam job, the 1" 376 carb fitted, a higher compression piston and slightly modified ports in the head, I hope to reclaim the power lost through the twin exhausts and then some ;)

Re: Iron heads for NG/NH

Ok, a friend also mentioned this or to make a cut out/scallop in the top of the tank. Doesn't go better with double pipes, but looks double as fast as a single exhaust one ! 8-)

Iron heads for NG/NH

Hi, I have a W/NG, which is a "bitzer", and I plan to install a twin exhaust iron head on - just for the looks. There's an NG head sitting on a workshop desk in South Yorkshire right now, that will be getting some NH treatment to the ports. When I compare pictures of this twin exhaust head...

Re: Smiths Chronometric, ratio?

Thank you for this info, highly appreciated! I did check the ratio between wheel and speedo drive like you mentioned, but with the gearbox in neutral. Should be the same? On 10 turns of the wheel I got 21 turns of the speedo drive, which equals to 12,6 turns at six turns of the wheel. When put into ...

Smiths Chronometric, ratio?

Hi, I've just got a refurbished Smiths Chronometric 80 mph speedo from ebay, to put on my "bitzer" W/NG. It's not original for a W/NG, but for a Triumph. It has got the tacho/rpm lines for 2.-4. gear. Coding on the speedometer says S467/17/L. I do not have the w/ng front brake plate speedo...

Re: NH/NG piston wanted

Found it, Draganfly had a kit with a std 8,5:1 piston and a cylinder liner. So got another cylinder today, and will get it lined and fitted with the 8,5:1 piston. Maybe a tad high CR, so I should fit a shim under the cylinder, or mill the crown little bit...?

Re: NH/NG piston wanted

Hi, thank you for the tip, but I'm afraid it's a standard piston with 6,2:1 CR, beeing a Hepolite 11210. What I need is either a Hepolite 4469 (7,5:1 with three compression rings, no oil ring), 10431 (7,5:1 with two compression rings and one oil ring) or 11548 (8:1 with two compression rings and one...

NH/NG piston wanted

Wish to get a .040 or .060 piston for an NH/NG 350, with either 7,5:1 or 8,0:1 CR. A used one is also of interest, as long as it's not damaged or totally worn out.
