Any idea why two oil gauges? I thought a time clock was an option, not a second oil gauge? :?:

Simon, i’ve taken a look at my Tecaloid. I’ve used “jet black” Tecaloid 318 single pack coach enamel which i purchased from Smith and Allen.

Simon, I’m currently out and about but will take a look tomorrow. It drys enough to be rubbed back after 7 days, but is nicely touch dry in 2 - 3. I use a Purdy brush and apply in a warmish environment. I can honestly say that i haven’t been left with any brushmarks. The only issue so far has been r...

That’s very, erm?, green....
I’m a newly converted fan of hand brushing using Tecaloid paint; brush on and the brush marks disappear. Better finish than powder coat any day.

I don’t think Hazel will get access to that part of the forum as your user name must appear in red. As an AOMCC member, you need to contact admin to get your forum status changed. I hadn’t realised this until recently when John Mitchell pointed it out to another member.

Mike, I used to have an old, rusty one of these (nick named “the bomb” for obvious reasons). Very warm, but they generate a lot of moisture so had to go electric.

But don’t try insuring a BSA M21 with CN as, apparently they don’t exist (and i’m not the only person to have had this issue with them!)

I know we have gone off thread, but i once had to locate a fault on newly installed telecomm cable that ran under a car park in Winchester.
The cable had been joined during manufacture and the core colours had been swapped around......... :roll:
