Hi guys, I dont know much about these modern Ariels but this looks like an Enfield toolbox if it had no brackets on it ,these can be found on some modern enfields and they are quite cheap to buy

Hi,you sure have a job on your hands with that one,it looks like a belt driver by the kink in the rear part of the frame from the rear of the seat to the axel, it is an A K D engine, age is between 1915/23,good luck.

About 1930s.I didnt take much notice at the time as it came with some other parts and I didnt need or was likely to need it so I traded it for a VB cylinder I thought I did well .regards Andy

A good possibility they are BSA 250ish.I had a chaincase that was like this one and it went to a BSA man.Regards Andy.
