the brackets are 14cm by 2.4 cm and 4mm thick There is a mounting hole 8mm diameter and a slot for adjustment also 8mm.

chaz - £100 for a new cam - could you tell me who sells them, as at that price i woud renew it.

there are two slotted lengths of metal about 5/8th wide and about 5 inches long and 3/16th thick. The slots are to make height adjustments I assume.
I can get precise dimensions when I next get to my garage - they should be easy to make if you can not find any

hi the dismantaling of my 1951 ariel sqare 4 project continues. I had the camshaft out the other day and there are ridges left on the lobes where wear has not occurred as it has not been in contact with the cam followers(I have not measured the amount though) Anyone know how much wear (if at all) is...

hi im rebuilding a 1951 square 4 with a BA box that had grease as a lube. I wish to convert this to oil, or oil and grease, but was wondering about the effectiveness of the felt washers in the outer casing by the kickstart bearing. Will these hold oil in the box or is a modification needed - rubber ...
