Wanted Rear Mudguard for W/NG

Has anyone got a spare original or reproduction rear mudguard and stays for a W/NG? I actually need it for a 1939 Ariel OG 250 but the chances of finding one of those are virtually zero and the W/NG is the closest I can get to it. I'm happy to swap for pre war single and square four spares or buy fo...

Re: new guy needing help

I have a pair of yokes for a BSA C10L which I think are the same as the Colt if you need them.

Ariel Square Four 600 OHV 4F Mudguard Wanted

Has anyone got a rear valanced mudguard and stays for a 1939 Square Four 600 OHV for sale? I have some square four and Ariel single swaps and am also happy to pay cash. I'm also looking for a 1939 oil tank - the one with the 'dent' in the side for the speedo cable.

Ariel Model Z Tradesman Sidecar

Just seen this in the Cheffins online catalogue for their April vintage sale. I've never seen one before: http://www.cheffins.co.uk/lot/-562046-vintage-0

There's also a model B: http://www.cheffins.co.uk/lot/-562045-vintage-0

Ariel OH

Does anyone out there have a tool box, fuel tank and Burman HP gearbox for a 1939 Ariel OH for sale? I think the OG is the same. I'm also looking for a rear valanced mudguard, 8 inch headlamp shell, Anstey frame tool box and saddle for a 1939 Square Four 600 OHV. I'm happy to buy or swap for some of...

Re: Ariel Square 4 Paint

Hi Alec,

You could try the Danish Ariel Owners Club website. They have a load of useful links to tank patterns amd templates: http://www.arielklubben.dk/tank_templates.html

I haven't used them myself so unfortunately can't vouch for their accuracy but they look good to me.

Re: 1939 4F 600 OHV Square Four Parts Needed

Not good news I'm afraid: the Czech end wrote to me today to say they only have 25mm tooling and although they could try and make the bars using the 1 inch tubing they would not turn out satisfactorily. The hunt continues and I'll try and find someone in the UK willing to take the task on......

Re: 1939 4F 600 OHV Square Four Parts Needed

Dimensions will be very helpful thanks. Mine were bent on both sides so I'm not sure what the angle should be where the bars sweep back. I was thinking of going to the National Motorcycle Museum to measure their bike so any details and measurements will be very welcome!

Re: 1939 4F 600 OHV Square Four Parts Needed

Thanks for the good advice Nev, I'll definitely send some 1" tubing with the bars. The Czech firm makes quite a number of replica parts for a variety of bikes including Ariels so if these bars come out OK I'll see if they can make a few extra sets up.
