Re: Ariel in Motor Cycling 1930/31

And a few more - five in total as they're quite short but do include one for the anoraks detailing specification changes to the RH500 shortly after they were announced..

Re: Ariel in Motor Cycling 1930/31

Evening Andy! I guess you're right - I wouldn't fancy doing 95mph on the roads of that era. The village I come from only got tarmac roads in about 1950!

Re: Ariel in Motor Cycling 1930/31

Re: Ariel in Motor Cycling 1930/31

Thanks Simon, one of my favourites has got to be the bodge of fitting the horn button to the timing cover so you can use it with your foot. I'll try and dig it out and post it in the next day or two .....

And some more. Some from Motor Cycling 1930/31 and one from 1931/2. I'll try and put some on each day but in any case John will put them all in the Library so they'll all be in one place.... Ariel in Motor Cycling 1930/31

With at least another three weeks of lockdown I thought I'd take a day off from the Ariels in the garage and, with far too much time on my hands I went through volume 48 of Motor Cycling (November 1930 to May 1931) and scanned anything to do with Ariels.
