Hi Gordon, somebody will correct me if necessary I'm sure, but if the drive is off the rear crankshaft it must rotate clockwise. I take it you do mean a Mk1 not an Ohc? I would think the same applies anyway. Mine is Mk11 but I think the same timing chain setup.

Thanks Adrie. I take it the 8mm pin clamps the bracket to the handlebar stem. Is there a separate means of clamping the bracket to the bracing tube? Sorry to be thick. Roger

The bracing tube looks clear enough to me, note the collar at the top, and compare the reflections from the fork yoke and the tube, that from the tube being partly obscured by shadow from the main tube. It looks as though the rod on the 'Beaulieu' passes to the right of the steering column whereas i...

A lot of second hand rear cranks you might pick up will have wear along part of the length of the splines. Examples I know of have differing portions of worn splines but I have never identified why this occurs. I don't see how pulling past the cam would cause wear in that way - the wear seems only e...

washer behind engine shock absorber

Greetings all. Does anybody have one of these for sale please? Drags list as 'no longer supplied'. I think it is missing from the exploded diagram.
My need concerns a Mk 11 square in particular. May be a universal item?

Thanks very much. Roger
