Telescopic forks

Hello gents,
Is there some one who can confirm that the early stanchion adapters does have different thread (cycle?) compared to the later one's (1 1/16'' x 20 tpi?)

I've prob. got a early adapter which does not fit on the 1949>later stanchions... (see first picture)

Re: Cartridge type oil filter on KH500.

Paul, am I correct in thinking that the reason for changing the feed to the rockers from the pressure pump side to the scavenger pump side is so that additional oil flows to the timing side main and big end bearings. Yes the reason for changing the feed to the rockers from the scavenger pump side i...

Re: 1952 KH500 Oil Pressure Gauge

John, to get that gauge in your petrol tank, I'am afraid you must get rid of that lip... The gauge on your picture is the right one for a KH. Maybe you can make the hole bigger with a dremel or something similar?

Re: Cartridge type oil filter on KH500.

John, I fitted a cartridge oil filter on my KH some time ago and did not experienced any problems whatsoever. Yes the scavenger side of the oil pump does have to work a tiny bit harder to press the oil through the filter but I guess it's not that restricted. I made use of that restriction by taking ...
