Has anyone had a go at repairing damaged (not broken) fins on an ally motor? See Pic.
I would like to try a repair before replacing the manifold.
I assume the repair involves heat, but is there a procedure to follow?

I think the original spot is under the seat for a Mark 1. Mine is there and seems to work OK. It's not the most watertight spot, but I haven't had any trouble.
